Bali – Stepping Out

Bali – Stepping Out

“Shall I go or shall I stay?”

I was looking for an answer to this question.

I had never been to Bali. There was an opportunity in front of me to go and speak at a diamond mastermind in Indonesia. We were living in Kuala Lumpur. I really wanted to get more experience and practice speaking as my dream has been to become a speaker. That was a perfect opportunity and Bali was only 4h away by flight.

The challenge was, I was looking at the money part and it did not fully add up. I was told the company would cover the food and accommodation but I would have to cover my flight.

Step Out

I wanted to get closer to my vision but at the same time, I was aware I needed to focus on income-generating activities. Shall I go or shall stay? That was the question I was weighing in my head.

Finally, I decided I should step out to follow my dream and trust that things would work out. I went online and bought my ticket.

I and my wife set clear intentions for this trip. We agreed I should prepare my best game plan ever, focus on giving a massive value and do not think whether I would receive anything or not. I should not hold anything back but focus on fully serving the people who were attending.

There is this verse that really inspired me Colossians 3:23: I saw this verse being on skype of one of my friends, I looked it up and it really spoke to me “ Whatsoever you do, do it from the heart, as to the Lord, and not to men,”.

Darek

At the Kuala Lumpur airport, I met a very talkative Polish guy called Darek. That was cool to have met a fellow Polish after such a long time. We arrived in Bali, it was late evening. I had one day off to rest after the flight and the day after was my turn to speak.

Morning Warfare

On the day of my presentation, I woke up early to do my “hour of power”. I wanted to prepare mentally, physically and spiritually for the mastermind. “Hour of Power” is my daily habit, instead of starting a day with Facebook, emails, and news, I walk outside to nature and spend about an hour, feeding myself spiritually. It totally changes everything.

When I was walking outside of the hotel, I have noticed a stream of really negative thoughts coming my way… “You are not good enough…”, “Who do you think you are…?”, “You gonna embarrass yourself..”, “People will laugh at you…” crazy stream of thoughts.

I was walking barefoot on the beautiful grass, I felt the morning due on my feet. I knew it was a lie and it was time for the warfare.

I had these verse in my head bringing assurance “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

I turned on the worship music, prayed in tongues, gave thanks and declared, that was my time with God. Immediately the presence showed up, the thoughts started to become quieter and quieter and eventually were replaced with amazing peace, beautiful joy, love and confidence. I was ready to serve and take the stage.

Lord Use Me

Before getting on the stage I said this super simple prayer “Lord use me”. An interesting thing happened following it. Even though I had prepared slides and I knew what I wanted to talk about, however in between the slides I was getting promptings and ideas to share different stories.

After the session I had so many people coming to me and giving this amazing feedback, they were saying that the stories I had shared touched them, they experienced many breakthroughs, some people asked for a recording of the session. That was really a humbling experience. I came to Bali because I wanted to learn to be a speaker, that was my practice round. I was touched and humbled.

That evening I was asked to take one extra session the next day. That meant doing two sessions the next day, each of them 90 minutes. I had to get my slides ready overnight.

Mexican Lunch

Right after the presentation, I returned to my room to rest. I felt good mentally but physically I was exhausted.

I caught up my wife and at the end of our call, she encouraged me to come out and mix with the crowd.

The Ayana Hotel I was staying at is truly massive. It has 17 restaurants spread across a vast area. There was even a tram taking people from one restaurant to another because of the distance.

I did not make any arrangements to meet up with anyone for dinner and so chances to meet up with anyone from the conference were rather impossible.

When I came out toward the reception it was quite late, there was no one around I knew. I gave a call to my dad and chatted for a while. After a few minutes, I saw one of the executives of the company coming out.

Normally I feel a bit shy, but this time I had this boldness coming on me and I asked him “did you have any food yet?”, he looked at me a bit surprised and I suggested: “let’s go and grab something”. We had a couple of other attendees joining us at a Mexican restaurant. During one of the conversations I mentioned a metaphor of squeezing lemon that I used to build my business, I noticed that it made an impact on him. Shortly after he left the table and returned to his room.

I stayed behind, we finished at around 00:00, when I got to my room I received a Skype message, “let’s do a product”. I was asked to immediately prepare slides about the new products, plus I needed to prepare slides for the next day. I finished my work at 2 pm. Within the next 48 hours, the product was ready. What was simply amazing and incredible.

After the seminar, I received amazing feedback and as a result, it created several really great opportunities to fly and speak, to train at masterminds, to conduct webinars and to do one on one mentoring.

“Whatsoever you do do it from the heart, as to the Lord, and not to men,”.

Farewell Dinner

At the farewell dinner, I had so many people coming over to me to share how my presentation spoke to them. When I was asked questions, how did I get the content, I could share my secret source, I could share my personal testimonies.

At one of the tables there was a man called Steve who when he heard my testimony he asked “how about us, we do not believe”, first I thought he wanted to distance himself from faith and this way of thinking of life, but instead, I noticed that he was spiritually hungry. I saw his eyes becoming glassy and watery.

I told him that he would have an encounter and I shared the instruction

“… you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 4:29

Then when I traveled to other tables I had more people sharing my training impacted them. When I received another compliment from a lady, I said I believe in the Bible and that’s where I receive the revelations. When she heard it, she interrupted me with joy saying “that’s why you spoke as you did, the Holy Spirit spoke through you…” then she immediately called her husband saying “he believes in the Bible…”

After the conference, my new Polish friend Darek came with his girlfriend to the hotel and they showed me a very beautiful part of the Balinese shoreline. There was a massive cliff with caves. I loved the gift that was a blessing.

Wherever I Go…

Again, the Bali trip turned out to be way above anything I could think or imagine. I have received so many blessings, the product, the feedback, the new opportunities. I know whenever I travel God goes with me, He goes before me arranging my path and He makes the crooked places straight and He opens doors that no man can shut.

There is this beautiful theme across all my travels (Maldives, US, Sri Lanka, India, Singapore). All the glory goes to God.
