Las Vegas – Free Ticket To Poland

Few weeks ago, I received this message.

“I am putting you on the speaker’s list to Vegas no guarantees yet, I’m just seeing who can speak and then we’ll get schedule ready”.

I took it lightly, as it was to be confirmed. Nothing happened for few weeks and then 3 days before the conference I received another message

“You’re going to be in Vegas right? I have you speaking in Vegas, that’s confirmed you’re coming right?”

That was quite a surprise as I was totally on the other side of the world.  

Maldives is around 35h apart by flight. I messaged back saying “I will have to leave tomorrow or latest the day after. Does it make sense for you guys to fly me all the way there?” He said, “Let me come back as yet it is very expensive to fly you there.” I said “sure, I understand.”

Trying to Justify

After the chat, I tried to justify the way I answered, that maybe it is good that I would not go to Vegas…, but it did not feel right, deep in my heart, I wanted to go there.

It was late at night, around 12 am, I was still reflecting on how I let go of the opportunity. A few minutes later my wife stepped into the room and said, “I have a very strong feeling he will come back to you in the morning and he will ask you to fly”.

It wasn’t one of the positive “comforting” answers like… “hey, everything it is going to be ok”. There was something in her voice. She said it with a deep internal conviction, her tonality communicated certainty.

James 5:16 says …”The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”, Before going to sleep I said a prayer asking that I would like to go.

4h Sleep

It was a short night, I woke up at 4 am as I do regular weekly webinars for the US market.

When I opened my computer to get things ready, I received a message on skype from one of the company staff.

“You are coming to Vegas, right, you know we have a room booked.”

I asked her to double confirm and I mentioned about the last night conversation. Shortly after, I received another message.

“Marcin you there, please come now, change of plans, if you can make it, please come”.

I smiled and got excited.

My flight ticket to was arranged within the next hour, I was ready to start preparing for the big journey.

Free Ticket to Poland

My flight was leaving in less than 12h. I was doing my last minute arrangements, everything was going so fast. Suddenly, another exciting idea hit me, why not to request my return ticket to be right to Warsaw so I could see my father.

Instead of flying back to London for the next seminar, I could request to fly me back to Warsaw as I had around 10 days gap between the 2 seminars. In this way, I could see my father. I quickly reached out and requested to change the return ticket. They agreed. This trip was becoming more and more exciting.

I finished my 2 webinars for the day, I rushed to get all my things arranged within the remaining few hours, then finally I said goodbye to my wife and got on the plane.

Download from Heaven

The plane took off, I watched the beautiful blue waters of Maldives disappearing behind us. I had a window seat and the other two seats next to me were empty. My heart was filled with this special peace and gratitude. I put the headphones on, I played some worship music and then spent the next hour or so praying in tongues and worshiping softly.

I knew I needed to prepare my presentation on the flight, but I chose not rush, I had 35 hours of flying ahead of me. I honored the presence. It was very strong, it was special and it was amazing.  

When I stopped worshipping, I took a notebook and within the next 5 min I wrote down the entire outline for my presentation and it was best ever, I would never think of such an outline. That was so cool, God gave me another amazing download. I was beaming.

“Now without faith, it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Right after, I took the computer and created the slides. It was just simply amazing, I received the entire file, such a cool shortcut.

I Tithe…

While at the seminar room, I met one of the ladies that I would be mentoring one to one in the next couple of weeks. I invited her to come out of the seminar room so we could have a chat. During the conversation, she told me her reasons why she decided to do online marketing business and why she believes she would win. Out of the blue, she told me that she tithes. I looked at her and said, “you tithe…?” I smiled and said “great, you will succeed”.

Friend from Poland

To my big surprise, on the second day, I received a facebook message from a friend who comes from near my hometown in Poland. He currently lives in Hawaii he came for a conference to Vegas.

We had a good chat, I shared some of the elements about my spiritual journey. I felt he was at a transition point in his life. I wanted to pray for him but somehow I did not have the courage.

5 AM Speech

My speech was to start at around 5 pm, I must admit I felt jet-lagged, exhausted and tired. Vegas is exactly 12h apart from the Maldives, so my 5 pm became my 5 am. I was still overcoming the jetlag, I felt a bit anxious, I did not feel that I was in the flow and my body was demanding the long overdue sleep…

It was a new test for my speaking skills to deliver the presentation in these new circumstances.

“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength”  Isaiah 40:31

Before coming on stage, I prayed, I declared and I said this simple prayer, “Lord use me”.

I have experienced that several times in the past when I give it all up to Him, I am led and directed, it is so much better than relying on my own effort and techniques. He is faithful, He directed me, He gave me ideas, stories to tell, ready phrases and tonalities.

After I finished my presentation I had so many people coming to me saying that my personal story and my journey strongly touched them, resonated with them and spoke to their current circumstances. There were so many people giving feedback that it was overwhelming, it was such a blessing, I felt touched.

20 Year Old Pastor

“Are you a Christian?” A young passionate man stood in front of me, “I saw on the very last slide you had 2 Corinthians. 9:6 ” Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”

I said “yes”. I was teaching the law of sowing and reaping that is so applicable in business and understanding it made a massive difference in my business.

He turned out to be a 20 years old pastor who used to be a very strong atheist in the past, he had been convinced that the best way to explain reality around him was using pure logic and science.

I asked him about his testimony “how did you get to know the Lord”.

I have learned that every person who has a personal relationship with God, always has a powerful testimony, always, no exception. That’s why now, I always go straight into personal testimonies. That’s the real juice of conversing with newborn Christians.

His family was going through a very rough patch in their life. His younger brother had been very depressed for quite a long time, they tried to help him using various ways, but nothing seems to work. Soon he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. To make things tougher his brother admitted that he was having suicidal thoughts. On that particular day, my new friend was sitting in his room alone and he was at the end of his wits. He had no idea how to deal with the overwhelming reality.

He lost hope, he just did not see any way this situation could change. Being alone in his room he crying out for help, he did not know God, but he still called out for help from the bottom of his heart.

Personal Encounter

Pretty much immediately he received a very strong encounter, there was this presence that flooded his body with love, joy, peace and brought him to tears. Then, he felt inside him this strong sense of knowing “I am with you”, “I am with you”,“I am with you”, it was resonating inside him it was deeply reassuring.

Within a few seconds, he received a text message from one of his Christian friends. The text message contained a verse from the Bible where God said “I am with you”, that touched him and deeply convicted his heart.

Incredible young man, very passionate, fun guy, driven, he was only 20 years old, he was a leader of God’s movement.

Then he told me that before coming over to the conference he had said a prayer that he wanted to meet up with other Christians at the conference, so cool.  

My Prayer Got Answered

At that moment, something hit me. One of my personal prayers got answered. Several weeks ago, during my morning power walks I prayed from my heart that I wanted to see my father this year as it has been a few months since I met him. I never expected this prayer to be answered this way. God’s answer was beyond and above of what I could think or imagine, the company paid for the trip, I had all these amazing meetings, I traveled half of the world.

The Vegas journey was amazing, it lasted for 1 month, I touched down in 3 continents and I visited 4 countries

I started in the Maldives, Male, flew to Saudi Arabia, Rias, than 16h flight right to Los Angeles, then to Las Vegas, then to New York, then to Warsaw where I spent around 10 days. Then I flew to London for another seminar, then to Dallas, then to Atlanta for my first private mentoring, then to Chicago for my second mentoring, then to Seoul, South Korea, than to Colombo, Sri Lanka and back to the Maldives

Consistent Theme

I thought I was going to a business conference but it turned to be another amazing road trip as so many of the previous ones.  

There is this beautiful theme across all my travels (Maldives, US, Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, Bali).

Throughout this business conference, I had two people coming to me and weeping while sharing their life stories. I had an opportunity to pray for 3 people, I shared my testimony and spoke about God on numerous occasions. I love traveling this way, it is fun, it surprising, it is special. All the glory goes to God.
