London – Taufiq

My alarm went off, it was around 7:40 am, I opened my eyes, looked through the window and I could not believe. Instead of the being able to see the royal docks, we had a solid whiteboard. The entire view disappeared.

I put my clothes on, grabbed my headset, phone and went outside. It was such a foggy day that I barely could see anything around. I crossed the street and walked around the dock.

Every Monday morning I do a regular catch up with Tiffany, this is part of my morning hour of power. As we were talking, I continued walking around the dock. It was amazing, the fog was so thick that I could hardly see anything around, it was all white. It was a really cold morning, around 1 degree Celsius. There was frost all around on the payments and on the road.

Sudden Noise

Suddenly, I could hear some noise, I looked to my right-hand side, there was a small boy around 8 years old lying on the pavement and crying. It looked as if he was trying to take a turn and his bike slipped on the frosty pavement. He was crying and could not get up. His father rode off quite far ahead of him so he could not hear him falling.

I came closer and asked him if he was all right, he continued crying, I touched his leg and softly said: “be healed in Jesus name”. I decided to step out in faith Jesus said: “they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:18

Shortly after his father arrived, he tried to help him out, but the little boy continued crying. I was wearing a hoodie, all dark clothes, he probably wondered what I was doing there next to his son and what were my intentions.

Stepping Out in Faith

I stepped out in faith and I said: “I pray for people and people get healed, can I pray for your son to get well?”. He looked at me a bit surprised and taken back, but he said ok”, I squatted and asked if I can touch the boy’s leg. They both looked surprised, but they gave me a permission. I laid my hand and again softly said: “Pain, I command you to go away, leg be healed right now in Jesus name”.

The boy continued crying, I told him to test it by moving the leg. He followed my instruction. I asked if it is any better. The boy looked at me a bit surprised and said “yes”, I laid my hand again and told, “pain go away completely, I commanded full healing”. Then again, I asked the boy to test his leg, he did. His face looked more surprised, he stopped crying and his face showed that something took place. He looked way better.

I stood up, turned toward the father and I looked into his eyes, the father looked even more surprised.

I told him, “it is God who heals, is there anything I could pray for you to bless you?”  

he said it faith “yes, I struggle with cigaret addiction and cannot sleep at night”,

I asked him what’s your name,

he answered “Taufiq”.

I laid my hand on his shoulder and prayed against the addiction, I prayed for him to be blessed and I prayed for great sleep. I blessed them and said goodbye and walked away. He looked very surprised and touched. All the glory goes to God.
